Pearls Of Joy review and {GIVEAWAY!!}
I was ecstatic when Pearls Of Joy approached us asking if we would be interested in doing a review. What girl couldn't use some extra jewelry? Especially beautiful jewelry like this. Pearls Of Joy is an online jewelry store that sells all kinds of different pearls at an extremely discounted rate. They have a fantastic selection to choose from and their prices are seriously unbeatable.
You can shop by pearl color and choose from white, black, lavender, chocolate, peach/pink, multi-color, and golden pearls. Whew! That makes for a lot of choices.
You also have your choice of necklaces, bracelets and earrings. They even sell a few men's jewelry pieces. They also offer jewelry sets at great prices. Check out this bridal jewelry set that has a list price of $900.00!!! At Pearls Of Joy it is listed for $199.00. That is some discount!
I was able to review the Akoya black pearl earrings. I have always really liked black pearls and was really excited about getting these. I was not disappointed. I love them. These earrings are normally listed at $350.00 but you can get them at Pearls Of Joy for $55.00!!
Another great thing about Pearls of Joy is that when you receive your jewelry you also get an appraisal certificate saying exactly how much your jewelry is worth. I assume this is for insurance purposes. How nice to have that on hand.
WIN IT!!
Pearls of Joy has generously offered to give one lucky reader their very own set of Akoya Black Pearl earrings.

DownEast Dresses review and {GIVEAWAY!!}
I am really excited to be able to do another DownEast Basics giveaway. This time I was able to review two of their dresses. If you are on the search for modest, reasonably priced dresses then I have found the place for you. DownEast has a good selection of really cute dresses. Like this Wonderful World Dress:

Or this Take A Bow Dress.
I received the Get Spotted dress (this is Megan modeling the dress)
and loved them both. I actually wore the Serendipity Dress to my brother-in-law's wedding last weekend. It was a perfect dress for a special occasion like that because it is slightly dressier then most dresses, but not too dressy that I draw attention to myself. I felt really cute in it and it is now my favorite dress I own. My favorite part of the dress is that it has pockets. Pretty cool huh?
WIN IT!!
DownEast has generously offered to giveaway both of the dresses that I was able to review, so we will have TWO WINNERS for this giveaway! Please state in your comment which dress you would prefer to win.

YummyEarth Gummy Candy Review & Discount Code
YummyEarth is a USDA Organic candy company. I had the opportunity to try out their gummy bears, gummy worms, and their lollipops. I was surprised at how delicious all of these treats really were. The lollipops are great tasting and would be excellent to give out as Halloween candy. They come in assorted flavors and my favorite was flavor was Strawberry Smash, but honestly all the flavors are excellent.I thought these Gummy Bears were awesome. My one critique of these candies are they are a bit chewier than some other gummy snacks. The flavors are great, but the gummy bears and worms described as sour or tart are not really that sour, but more fruity tasting. Overall, these are great candies and would be a great idea for Halloween as a gift or for trick or treaters.

BUY IT!
YummyEarth is offering our readers 20% off on orders $25 or more until November 15th. So, stock up now on Organic Gummy Candy and celebrate Halloween while being Green. Use the code: justformeandyou2

yummy in my tummy Review & Discount Code
yummy in my tummy offers fresh and organic baby/toddler food that will not only impress mom, but baby also. Like I have said on numerous occasions, my baby is a super picky eater. I don't just mean he will pick at a few things on his tray, I mean he will refuse to eat if he doesn't get something he likes, he will throw a tantrum, get so worked up that him eating is not even a possibility. Every meal with my son is an ordeal. I sometimes offer him anywhere from 1-6 different options just to get my skinny mini to eat something. I was so excited for my son to try the yummy in my tummy food because it actually looked so delicious!
My son had the Spinach and Sweet Potatoes for lunch today. He didn't eat dinner last night or breakfast this morning very well, so when he was excited for each bite of his lunch, I was thrilled. I knew he liked sweet potatoes, but was nervous he would notice the spinach. Whether he did notice or not, he ate every single bite.
My son's typical breakfast is a bowl of Cheerios and milk, not because it is the best thing for him, but because that is all he will eat. For this reason, I was shocked when he gobbled up the Dutch Apple. It smelled so yummy that I actually took a bite myself. This stage 3 baby food was amazing! It tasted like warm apple pie.
Now, I did warn you that my son was ultra picky, so don't be surprised when I say he actually wasn't a fan of the Vegetable Stew with Couscous. We received several little containers of baby food and while we haven't tried every single one yet, this has been the only one he didn't enjoy. He loved the Mac & Cheese with Hidden Veggies and the Banana & Blueberry. My favorite thing about yummy in my tummy food is that it doesn't look or taste like the normal baby food, it tastes fresh and like it was intended for adults who have good taste. Yummy!BUY IT!
Do you have a picky eater or are looking for organic baby food?
You must check out yummy in my tummy!

Twisted Silver Jewelry review
I recently had the opportunity to review a bracelet from Twisted Silver. I received the Silver Beatnik bracelet and loved it. It is a chunky linked bracelet that can be fitted on your wrist either loosely or a little more snug if you prefer, depending on what link you put the clasp on. This particular bracelet is available in several designs including the antiqued look
and the one I was able to review was sterling silver. I love my bracelet and have worn it several times already. I don't usually wear a lot of jewelry and I like this because I feel like it makes my outfit look a little nicer without going too overboard or drawing a lot of attention to it. I like the simplicity of it.
The only thing I would change about it would be to make the links a little smaller. I prefer slightly daintier jewelry.
Everything else about the bracelet is great. It feels really well made and retails at a very reasonable price of $30.00. Definitely keep Twisted Silver in mind when you start your Christmas shopping!

Freshpair Bra & Shapewear Review & {GIVEAWAY!!}
This Diesel Chemise is a lovely eggplant. You may purchase this nightgown for $54.o0.
I think this cami looks amazing. It is a torso trim tank with underwire support.
As the weather is getting cooler, tights are a stylish way to keep your legs warm and sexy. Why not try Spanx with tummy control.
These Barely There breathable panties are on sale for just $7.50.
Freshpair offers a huge variety of bras that fulfill your comfort, sexy, sporty needs. I had the opportunity to review the Anita Alicia Underwire Bra. Ever since I was pregnant with my son, my breasts have not been the same. And by the same, I mean in the same place, same size, same shape, or the same look. While I wouldn't trade anything for the joy of having a child, I have thought about how nice it would be to have my breasts back. This underwire bra has actually helped raise my confidence. I do wish that it offered some padding, but I can't complain because my boobs are actually in the right place for the first time since my son was born. The microfiber fabric is soft and comfortable. The bra is well made and while I thought a bra with enough lift would be uncomfortable, there has been times when I have forgotten I even have a bra on. This bra probably isn't the best choice in cold weather (no padding), but it is a brand I will definitely go out of my way to search for as I now know how amazing the quality and support is that it offers.
I also had the opportunity to review a piece from Freshpair's Shapewear section. Once I had on the Body Wrap, it became clear how celebrities always look so tight and toned. I was surprised at how comfortable and unnoticeable this body shaper was, all while being firm and helpful. My sister-in-law actually wore this last weekend to my brother's wedding. Her body looked smooth and flawless in a sexy dress. This is something every woman should own, no matter what your size. BUY IT!
Make sure to check out Freshpair for all your under clothing needs/wants. They also offer undergarments for men. They also offer free shipping for all U.S orders.

The Grandparents Handbook review
"The Grandparents Handbook is a collection of games, activities, tips, how-to’s and all-around fun for grandparents and their grandchildren – regardless of where they live or what their health may be. It features everything from finding four-leaf clovers to writing a family newspaper, holding a backyard Olympics or Kentucky Derby and planting a goblin or fairy garden together. The book also gives great ideas for scavenger hunts, passing the time on long car rides, yummy deserts, bath-time games and much, much more.
Just like parents, grandparents can get caught in sticky situations. The Grandparents Handbook navigates grandparents through potentially tough territory and offers a refresher course on caring for kids. What do you do if the tooth fairy has to visit while your grandchild is sleeping over? How do you respond when your sweet innocent grandchild misbehaves? How do you baby-and kid-proof your home? The Grandparents Handbook gives first-hand advice from experienced grandparents across the country in the form of fun, illustrated instructions."
- Elizabeth LaBan (author of the book)
I had the opportunity to review book and thought it was really cute. The book is filled with a lot of useful information as well as fun games and activities. It goes through all stages of childhood, starting out with tips on how to bath a newborn and how to baby proof your house and then on to fun snacks and projects you can make with an older child. It also gives advice from real grandparents on what they wished they had known before they had grandchildren. My favorite part of the book was "Bath time fun" where they gave fun ideas to do in the bath. I had never heard of several of the bath games and am excited to try them with my baby.
This book would make a really sweet gift for first time grandparents. I actually think it would make a good gift for veteran grandparents. My parents have 9 grand kids and guess what they are getting for Christmas? They are going to love it.
BUY IT!!
You can get this book on Amazon for only $10.61!! You can't beat that price.

Boon Inc. Flō Review & {GIVEAWAY!!}
I had the opportunity to review Flō by Boon. First off, Boon's tag line is "innovations for modern parents." All their products do have a modern feel. The "modern" movement is based on simple lines and function. Boon products do have simple, clean lines that are nice to look at and their products serve a function (usually several functions within one product). Boon gives 10% of each of their products profits are donated to children's charities. Boon is a company with a conscience.Flō is a water deflector and protective faucet cover with a bubble bath dispenser. Basically it's something that you cover your tub facet with so your babes and children don't knock themselves out when they hit it. Which we all bump into the faucet sooner or later. Even Mama when she's balancing on one leg while shaving. Ok, so we know it saves heads and shins from bruises, but it also has some really cool features added to it.
The top is a nice big oval hole to allow you access to your shower diverter (that thing that you pull to get the water to go from coming out of the faucet to come out of the shower head). The "water deflector" is like a "pair of cupped hands" that overflow and spill over (this is my description, not Boon's). The deflector is made of a soft plastic (anti-bruise) and it allows the water to come out of the faucet like a waterfall. The picture on the box shows a little girl rinsing out her long hair with this feature. My 8-month old daughter doesn't have hair that long, nor is she coordinated enough to lean back for a rinse. But it was helpful for filling up her cup to rinse her hair and she liked sticking her hand in the "waterfall." At first I was a little worried about the "cupped-ness" of the deflector. I thought that the pooled water would sit there and be a breeding ground for shower gunk. Then after a few minutes after the water was turned off, I noticed the water had disappeared from the cup. I ran my finger in the dip of the cup and Boon is so smart they put a small hole there so there is no breeding ground for shower gunk. The most fun feature is the bubble bath dispenser. The top has a flip top where you pour in your bubble bath so it's always ready for bath time. The top is nice and wide so you don't spill half your bubble bath into the bath instead of the dispenser. Then when you want bubbles, you push the button on the front of the cover and it allows a squirt to come down onto the deflector and to be whoosed down into the waterfall and it creates bubbles as the water falls into the tub! The longer you hold the button down, the bigger the squirt and the more the bubbles.So, Boon was generous enough to allow me the opportunity to test drive the Flō, but they also want to share the love. They are offering a Flō to one of our readers. Ya know the rules, the mandatory entry is to go to visit Boon's website and fall in love with all their products- wait, you just have to go to their website and tell us your favorite product (I know it will be so hard to choose).
