I love that the bangle expands so I can choose to wear it on my wrist or my upper arm for an entirely different look. I am quite impressed with the quality; the charm is very secure on the bracelet and the actual metal is strong and durable.

Tidy Books Bookcase Review & {GIVEAWAY!!}

My family and I live in a tiny apartment. My son's room is technically a bedroom because it has a closet, but is more like an office because of its size. As my son has been getting older, he has been acquiring more and more stuff, books included. I have been stuffing a small side table with two shelves full of his books which was packed so tightly my son could not grab a book by himself. I knew it was time to get him an actual bookshelf, but needed one that wouldn't take up much space, could attach to the wall for his safety, and one that was an appropriate size for him to grab books and clean up after himself.

Tidy Books has created a kid's bookcase that is so genius!

The bookcases come in several different finishes:

Natural wood finish bookcase.
Pale rose finish bookcase.
Azure finish bookcase.

I chose the white finish bookcase.

The bookcase is required to be drilled in the wall at the top of the shelf and then stands at a slight slant. The bookshelf was fairly easy to put together and only took about 20 minutes. The book shelves hold several books with the cover facing out instead of the spine. This allows your child to choose a book based on pictures that they recognize instead of words that they do not.

Each shelf has part of the alphabet in fun colors that can be used for teaching. My son and I have been using his bookcase to learn letters already. He points to a letter, I say what the letter it is, and he repeats me. If your child is a little old for the alphabet on his/her bookcase, simply turn the alphabet panels around for a new look.

My son has absolutely loved having his new bookcase in his room. He picks out a book several times a day and brings it to me to read to him and I have even caught him "reading" books all by himself. Him being able to choose and grab books for himself has already really benefited our family and I have seen my son's love for books increase dramatically.

The shirt is in men's cuts. I chose a size small and found that it did have a slim fit. I loved the casual, but still feminine look. The fabric is thick and high quality. The print did not peel in the wash and seems to be very well made.

From the site, I found a quote that I thought perfectly described the Peppermint Oil Scented Shirt, "It's not strong like cologne, instead it smells like the shirt was dried with peppermint scented fabric softener. It's natural and unobtrusive." I found that the scent on the shirt did fade after taking it out of the bag. To bring the scent back to life, you simply place the shirt in the dryer. The scent can last up to one year with proper care.

The peppermint scent is claimed to decrease appetite, soothe headaches, muscle pains, and increase focus. I love anything that can help me naturally so I absolutely love this idea.

Shade Review

Winter got you down? Needing to add a little Spring to your step? A touch of Shade ought to do the trick.

This Straight Skirt in the most amazing peacock blue would have me seeing clear, sunny skies in no time!

Shade just introduced their Skinny Leather Belt in the most PHENOMENAL collection of colors I have ever seen. The Kelly Green belt leaves me itching to walk barefoot in the grass.

The fabulous Blazer Jacket is perfectly paired with a tee, a pair of jeans, and a day at the park.

And my favorite new arrival at Shade- the ultra flattering, sophisticated and completely chic Interlock dress, pictured here in Berry.

I had the opportunity to review my very own Interlock dress, in black. Ladies, let me introduce you to the most perfect LBD. The 100% cotton material hugs without clinging. The band hits perfectly at the waist with a dreamy pleat detail- completely masking my third baby bulges. And did I mention, it has pockets!!!! I cannot find one flaw with this dress. I only wish that I had it in every color!!
