däv rain Review & {GIVEAWAY!!}

In Georgia, as the heat and humidity rolls in, so does the storms and Summer rain. I love the rain, but I do not love wet feet. I was so thrilled to find däv rain boots, umbrellas, handbags, socks, and apparel that all protect you from moisture. Best of all, these aren't your typical rubber rain boots. däv offers stylish options that I really love. Check out a few of my favorites:
The Lace-Up Rain Boots in Houndstooth in green/brown are to die for. Can't you just imagine splashing around in these?
These English Rain Boots are bright, cheery, and fun. Perfect to mask a dreary day.
I have never seen Sneaker Rain Boots, but I love them and am pretty sure I need to own them.
I love däv handbags. They are made from weatherproof material and raindrop lining. Brilliant.
This weekender bag is is so chic and fun.
I received the Safari Victoria Lace-Up Rain Boots for review. I chose this particular pair because I loved the fun pattern and the lace-up detail. I love these boots so much, I would most likely even wear them when it was expected to be perfectly sunny.
These rain boots are super easy to slip on with its soft fleece lining and corset lace back. The lacing can actually be tightened or loosened to achieve your desired fit. I was surprised how comfortable these boots are. I imagine while wearing the typical rain boot, you can expect blisters and discomfort, but these feel so comfortable. I actually hope for rain for the chance to wear these beauties! For just $90, I would definitely recommend purchasing your own pair to keep your feet and pants dry, warm, and comfortable.
I also received the Large Vinyl Satchel in black. For $55, this functional bag has interior pockets to keep you organized, a must when you don't want to spend too much time digging around in your bag while in the rain.
I love this stylish and casual bag. It is so easy to wear with everything. I can pack it full or only throw in a few essentials and it still looks great. The drawstring can be pulled tightly to close the bag or can be loosened for more of a square look. The strap is strong and well attached. I love it!

It’s the time of year that we spend more of our time outside. My daughter loves to be outdoors even if it’s just to bird (or airplane) watch. It can be quite a challenge to get sunscreen on her face and make sure it’s good coverage – you know those kinds of kids that whip their head in the opposite direction and try to push away. I had the opportunity to review the UB2 Vintage Floral bonnet. The craftsmanship of the bonnet is impressive: even the bobbin thread color was coordinated to the bottom fabric. The designer is really friendly and helped me to pick the right size for my daughter. They come in 5 sizes. I know it’s a great product when my husband uses it without being told! We had just gotten it and he had not seen me use it yet, but he decided to put it on her while she rode in the jogging stroller. So far, she’s worn it at the park, in the regular stroller, the jogging stroller and while on Pop’s back in the Moby Wrap. The bonnet did not shift or cover her eyes while she wore it. Tiny Tongs Review and Discount Code

My daughter is at the age (she's now 14 months old) of showing her independence, especially around meal time. It's difficult for her to keep food in the spoon or on top of a fork. Our new solution is Tiny Tongs. We were able to review Tiny Tongs and have found that it helps her to get more food into her mouth when she feeds herself. When we tried them with some cut up pizza squares, we found that it was a little difficult to "tong" the squares. She's creative and found a solution: stab the pizza with the fork end of the tongs! It works (see the below pictures). I think Tiny Tongs are perfect for self-feeding toddlers and would be great for special needs children that are having difficulty with the standard spoon and fork. My daughter gets excited to feed herself and has less frustration when the food actually gets in her mouth thanks to Tiny Tongs. They are non-toxic (lead free, BPA free, phthalate free) and have a non-slip "handle." The tong ends are forked and fit perfectly into little mouths. Most importantly they are dishwasher safe.
