Since my son was born, I have started to love Halloween. It is so fun to get him all dressed up, see his excitement to see pumpkins, decorations, and other children dressed up, and being the responsible parent by eating all his candy. I am even more excited that my daughter will be here for her first Halloween. There are so many cute costumes to dress little girls up in! I received the Little Elephant Infant Costume for the purpose of my review. It is so cute and I can't wait for my baby girl to wear it. The actual costume is a bunting so it will fit her no matter how tiny she is all the way up to 6 months. The elephant ears and trunk hat are to die for. The ears are so big and fun. The elephant hair isn't as visible on the costume I received as it is in the picture, but I still love it just the same. The fabric is soft and lightweight. I imagine this will be quite comfortable for a newborn.

Baby Shower: Shannon Makes Stuff Review & {GIVEAWAY!!}

I am so crazy about these Peacock Bobby Pins. They are gorgeous and would be super hip with a ponytail.
I received a pair of Ruffle Zip Shoes in black for review. I was really excited to receive these so I could have a comfortable pair of shoes that are still really cute while being pregnant and recovering from a c-section. I was just put on bed rest so I won't be wearing these for a while, but before these were my go to shoes. They are great for dressing down and the cute ruffles make these shoes awesome for dressing up, too. These shoes are made great! She actually sews on the zipper ruffle instead of using glue. I love them and at only $15, they are quite the bargain!
I also received a travel wipe case. She has a couple wipe case options up right now for only $5.00! I chose this case because my son is still in diapers so I wanted a case that was really cute, but not too girly. I love that this case has an opening on top instead of having to open the whole thing. It is also really well made and I love the cute detailing. The back has two elastic straps (see below picture) so you can pop a few diapers in and only carry your case for diaper changes. So convenient!

Baby Shower: Go Mama Go Designs Review

With so many new ways to keep your baby safe while sleeping, it is hard to keep up. I think Go Mama Go Designs has one of the best idea I have seen. I have heard that the traditional bumpers come with a risk of suffocation, strangulation, SIDS, and an easier way for older children to climb out of their cribs. Go Mama Go Designs has created the Wonder Bumper that keeps your baby safe and comfortable. The Wonder Bumper has an individual bumper on each crib rail to protect your baby's head while allowing circulation. You never have to remove these bumpers. I received the Chocolate Ruffle Crib Skirt. My bedding set didn't come with a crib skirt and since the bedding is very patterned, I wanted something simple, but still sweet. I think it turned out great. I love how long it is so I can store stuff under the crib. My last crib skirt didn't stay in place very well, but this one fits perfectly under the mattress. I love it.
I also received the Chocolate Minky Changing Pad Cover. I love it so much and it is on sale for only $7.99! I think my baby girl will love it and be really comfortable during diaper changes. The fabric is so soft and smooth. I have washed it and it stayed feeling silky. My changing pad is pretty long and flat, instead of contoured, and it still fit. It is quite stretchy and would probably fit over any changing pad.
Lastly, I received the Pink & Chocolate Dots Changing Cover. I chose two different changing pad covers just in case one of them didn't fit my abnormal changing pad. Unfortunately, this is the one that didn't fit. It would fit a contoured changing pad perfectly, though. I am still excited to give it to one of my friends with a baby girl. I love the brown dots on pink. It is so cute!

Baby Shower: StakerSensations Wall Decals Review & {GIVEAWAY!!}

I am crazy about wall decals. Even though my bumpy apartment walls aren't really ideal for applying decals, I can't help myself. Since I didn't have any decals for my children's rooms, I was super excited when StakerSensations approached me about doing a review. Their options are adorable and fun! Also, extremely affordable! I received the Swirl Tree Of Life Decal. I put it in my daughter's nursery above her crib. Although applying it my wall was really difficult since my walls are bumpy instead of smooth and this decal is pretty detailed, I think it turned out so beautiful! It is one of my favorite things in my daughter's room currently (my daughter will be my favorite once she gets here!). I imagine this would have been really easy to apply on a smooth surface because the decal is high quality and doesn't tear easily.

I also received the Backhoe Tractor Decal for my son's room. His room has a transportation theme and since he is obsessed with tractors, I knew he would love this decal. I also put his above his bed. Almost every night he says, "there is my tractor!" He has tried to take it off the wall a couple of times because he thinks he can play with it, but luckily it has stayed securely stuck to the wall. I absolutely love our new vinyl decals. They are both so adorable and have really added a lot to my kid's rooms.

Nesting.

I have gone a little overboard with my nesting desires this pregnancy. Wanting everything to be perfect in my baby's nursery has expanded to wanting everything to be perfect throughout my entire home. My husband's and my room has been in need of some brightening and new furniture. Since we are on a tight budget, I have been searching for cheap bedroom furniture. I would really like a new dresser, a fresh headboard, some wall hangings, and maybe some flowers or plants.

I have been doing a lot of my baby shopping at CSN Stores so it is no wonder that I would check out their options first. I usually find exactly what I have been looking for at a price that can't be beat and they offer free shipping on tons of their items. Yes, please. Why can't shopping always be this easy?

Baby Shower: SwaddleDesigns Review & {GIVEAWAY!!}

SwaddleDesigns offers some incredible products. Everything looks so luxurious, thoughtful, and comfortable. I saw several things I actually wish were adult sized so that I could snuggle up in comfort and softness. Of course, I have those same desires for my new baby. I want to spoil her with anything that makes transitioning to being outside of the womb a pleasure. Check out a few things that I am now considering as must-haves:

I received the Ultimate Receiving Blanket for review. I have mentioned before how I was absolutely horrible at swaddling my son. I could never remember how do it right, the baby blanket wasn't big enough, or he would find a way out. My attempts at swaddling him only lasted a couple of weeks before both him and I were frustrated and over it. However, I am determined to make it work with my daughter. I feel swaddling is very important and healthy for a new baby who is trying to adapt to their new world. I don't think I had the right tools with my son, but I am positive this swaddling blanket will make swaddling a breeze.
Their receiving blankets include sewn on instructions of how to do the perfect swaddle. If ever you forget, you can refer right to your blanket. So smart!
