Lysol Spray and Wipes Review & {GIVEAWAY!!}

This Spring, I have had the worst allergy problems. If I open my door or windows even for a few minutes, I have a nasty yellow layer of dust on everything in site. What I wasn't aware of is that pollen isn't the only source of allergy flare-ups. Dust mites, mold, and household pets can all contribute to your suffering. Some ways to reduce your suffering, from Lysol, include:

· Reduce Pet Dander - Decrease your exposure to pet dander by keeping your pet out of your bedroom, since this is typically the room in which people spend a majority of their time.

· Wrap Things Up - Put fabric covers over common dust mite hideouts such as pillows, mattresses and sofa cushions and wash bedding often.

· Clear the Air - Prevent pollen from entering your home by keeping windows and doors closed during peak allergy season. Air filters are also considered useful for helping clear the air of lingering allergens triggers.

· Wipe Down Surfaces - Be sure to frequently clean hard surfaces to get rid of allergens in your home. Use LYSOL Disinfecting Wipes to remove 90% of pollen particles and dust mite debris, in addition to killing 99.9% of illness-causing bacteria. Also use LYSOL Disinfectant Spray to kill the source of mold allergens on hard, non-porous surfaces.

· Avoid Mold Spores - To help reduce mold: use an air conditioner in humid climates and avoid the use of humidifiers in dry climates. Also, run the bathroom fan or open the window when showering.

· Talk to Your Doctor - It is important to talk to your doctor about whether or not allergy testing, medications, and/or other measures are recommended.

I had the opportunity to try out Lysol's Disinfecting Spray and Disinfecting Wipes, both of which kill 99.9% of germs. I just moved into a new apartment. It had been cleaned, but hadn't been touched in what appeared to be over a month. My husband was filling our new home with boxes and I was unpacking them, but I wanted to make sure every surface was clean and dust free. Using the wipes was so fast and easy. I could see the wipes looked like they were dirty even though my counter tops had looked clean. I also sprayed down all the door handles and other surfaces that I knew our toddler would soon have his little hands all over. Thanks to Lysol, we feel comfortable in our new home, we aren't worrying if the last guy cleaned well enough because we know Lysol did the job!

Smelly Towel review and {GIVEAWAY!!}

Has anyone heard of Smelly Washer cleaner? It is a cleaning agent that you put into your washing machine to remove any mold and mildew smells. What a smart product since who among us ever think to clean our washing machines?? Not me, and mine was built somewhere around 1925 (or at least it seems like it). Who knows what kind of disgusting-ness is hiding in my machine.

Since Smelly Washer was such a big hit, they have now come out with another product called Smelly Towel. As you can probably guess, Smelly Towel is a cleaner that is used to remove the mold and mildew smell from your towels. For someone who lives in the south where your towels are seemingly never dry because of the humidity, this product is a must have! You put in a tablespoon of the cleaner in place of your regular detergent and run a load of laundry like you normally would and it works exactly like it says it will. I seriously love this product. I have used it on all my towels and yesterday I used it on my bathroom rug since it always seems to have a funky smell even after being washed. Have you ever left a load of laundry in the machine for over 24 hours because you forgot about it? When you finally get back around to it, it reeks of mildew. This product would be perfect to take that smell right out. I literally cannot say enough good things about this cleaner. I've already given some to several of my friends urging them to use it right away because it's so great.

Guidecraft Transportation Table and Chair Set Review & {GIVEAWAY!!}

While searching the Guidecraft site, I have to admit, I was impressed. Everything they have to offer looks amazing. I was immediately drawn to their children's table and chair sets since my son doesn't really enjoy sitting in his high chair anymore while eating or coloring and I don't trust him to stay put in adult chairs.

My son is obsessed with all forms of transportation: cars, trucks, trains, planes, tractors; he loves them all. When I saw the Transportation Table and Chair Set, I knew it was the perfect fit for my toddler. Boy, was I right!

The table and chairs came in a well packed box. Each piece was individually wrapped in a protective covering to prevent scratching or damage. Everything arrived in perfect condition. I was very pleased.
Each piece was labeled to make directions easier. The directions were clear and putting together everything was fairly easy. My husband had to help me a couple times to hold things tightly in place while I screwed them in, but other than that, it was very easy and didn't take too much time at all.
My son awoke the following morning and ran straight to his new table and chairs. I wish I would have taken a picture of his face. He was so thrilled to have a place to sit and play that was just his size. He also went around the entire table and both chairs, pointed to the form of transportation, and excitedly told us what each one was.

I am particularly fond of the center storage. The center circle can be pulled out and inside is a large storage area. We keep our crayons, coloring book, and a few toy cars inside.
The detail of the table and chair set is unbelievable, I might even say beautiful. The hand-carved details are incredible. I love that the vehicles have dimension and aren't just painted on the table flat. We have been more than happy with this fabulous set. I have already recommended this set to everyone who has seen it and all who loves it and now I am recommending it to you, too! You and your little one will love it! My Obsession

Do you love to craft or decorate your home? Well, my favorite store is Hobby Lobby. They always have sales going on with 40% off items. That is my big downfall. I just have to do some "window shopping" for the sales. However, looking always turns to buying. Why is it so hard to turn down a great deal? Just yesterday I bought some minky fabric for half off. I don't really have any use for it right now, but I'm sure I'll find something, right? That's why I have a huge stack of unused fabric. I spend an hour in Hobby Lobby everytime I go! There is just so much stuff I want. Maybe I should buy a franchise.

I had the opportunity to review the North South Diaper Bag. If you're looking for a functional, classic, long lasting diaper bag, then this is the one you need to invest in.

The inside of the bag is HUGE and will hold anything you need for baby as well as a few things for yourself. I love that the inside is such a fun fabric to contrast the black outside.

The bottom of the bag unzips and you has space for diapers and wipes (or anything else you want to store under there) as well as the changing mat that comes with the purse in the same pattern as the inside of the purse. So cute.

My favorite thing about the North South diaper bag is that the entire inside of the bag unzips right out so you can throw it in the washer! There have been so many hours I have spent trying to wipe out the inside of my diaper bag to clean out all the nastiness that lives in there (ladies, don't pretend your diaper bag isn't just as gross). How nice to be able to unzip it right out to clean it!

*The food guidelines are easy to follow and understand

*The book is an easy, quick, and fun read

* The pictures are colorful and interesting

* The exercises are fun, unique and effective. My abs and arms are nice and sore after every workout!

* I enjoy following Abs and Arms; nothing about this manual is monotonous

*My husband, who is a fitness guru, has nothing but praise for this book. There are exercises in here that he has never seen before and is impressed with the burn and shocked by the results!

I highly recommend Abs and Arms to anyone looking to tone up before bikini season. I love bags that serve more than one purpose. While searching for a bag that would work as a diaper bag, a fashion bag, and a date night bag, I came across Amy Michelle. They offer fabulous bags that are perfect for baby, work, and travel.
I am particularly fond of their Poppy Clutch. All of my diaper bags are huge and aren't really convenient for quick trips to the store or for transforming into an evening bag without my child. This diaper bag clutch is beyond perfect. I pack it with 2 diapers, a bag of wipes, my credit cards, lip gloss, a pacifier, my cell, and a bag of snacks. At the end of the day, I pull out the diaper, wipes, snacks, and pacifier, and it is still the perfect size bag for my needs.
I chose to review the Poppy Clutch in green faux patent leather with champagne lining. I love the color. It is bright and fun and think it goes great with almost all colors in my outfit. The clutch also came with a fairly thick changing pad which folds down very small and can fit in with all of things I pack in my bag mentioned above.

I really love the wrist strap that can be unsnapped and wrapped around your stroller handle for easy access. The clutch has a few pockets inside which are great for pacifier or other storage. I use the front zipper pocket for my belongings. It holds my cell, credit cards, and lip gloss with lots of room. I really recommend purchasing this bag for yourself for $50 at Amy Michelle. Make sure to check out all of their totes, they have fantastic options, including the Madison Avenue which is great for mom and dad.
