EA Sports Active review and {GIVEAWAY!!}


I was able to do a review for EA Sports Active and I am so excited for this giveaway! If any of you are anything like me, then this product is perfect for you. I hate exercising and never feel like I have the energy, time or will power to work out consistently. I am always making new goals to keep at it and finally lose the rest of this baby weight but have a hard time actually following through. Well, EA Sports has changed this. It is a really fun, easy way to work out.

EA Sports Active is a Wii game that acts as a sort of personal trainer. It has you do a variety of different exercises and follows along with you, letting you know if you are doing good as well as how many calories you are burning and how long you have been working out. Some of the exercises include lunges, squats, running in place, and weight lifting with resistance bands. Each exercise only lasts a few minutes so you don't get bored with what you are doing and the workouts are all under 1/2 hour (at least all the ones I have done are. I haven't worked out on the hard level yet. I am still doing medium) so it is easy to sneak in a workout during my baby's nap time and still have time to clean the house (or sleep, let's be honest).

I absolutely love EA Sports Active. It has made it really easy for me to work out. I look forward to doing it and I love that it can be done in my own living room. I can track my progress and chart how far along I am in completely my goals. This game would be such a fun thing to do with your family to encourage time together as well as being active. The only complaint I have about it is that sometimes the Wii does not respond to a movement I am doing for the workout and it holds up the workout by pausing until I can get it to respond. It is pretty annoying, but it might just be a problem with my Wii, I don't really know.

I have decided to put this game to the test and take the EA Sports 30 day challenge which is a challenge to try out the EA Sports Active for 30 days and try to work out as often as you can in those 30 days and become healthier. I have been doing the challenge for about 14 days and have lost 3 lbs!! This has definitely been a motivator in wanting to continue doing it. My goal is to go beyond the 30 days and keep working out several times a week and eventually drop all the rest of the unwanted lbs I have been carrying around. I will keep you all posted on how it is going.

    Water is a life source, as well as one of energy! It is proven that you get more tired as you dehydrate, so why not replace that afternoon coffee with a tall glass of water? It'll definitely perk you up, so try to drink six glasses per day—even if you're not thirsty!

  120. I checked out the "muffin top" exercise area. I learned that instead of just doing crunches you need to also do...Alternating Side Lunges with Toe Touches, High Steps and Kick-Ups, Jump Squats.
