The First Years True Choice Premium Digital Monitor Review & {GIVEAWAY!!}

There is nothing that makes me more nervous than not being able to hear my child in the night, especially when it comes to new babies. I can actually sleep more soundly knowing I can hear any whimpers or little burps. I still use a monitor for my two year old and definitely plan on doing the same with our next baby.

The First Years has created such an awesome baby monitor! Their True Choice Premium Digital Monitor not only clearly picks up any sound your child makes, it also allows the parents to communicate with the child or with each other without the child hearing. Now that my son is in a toddler bed, this has been a total lifesaver. When he wakes in the morning, I press a button, speak into the parent unit, and tell him to come into my bedroom. He loves it. I love it.

Also, with this feature, I am able to communicate with my husband on the second parent unit. We can press a separate button that allows us hear each other, but our son hears nothing. Completely convenient.
In addition to three-way communication, this digital monitor has your typical baby monitor features including sound-light indicators, out-of-range indicators, low-battery indicator, volume control, battery and plug-in options, and wall mounting for the child's unit. A major bonus for me is that this monitor actually comes with rechargeable batteries! This means I can carry my unit all around my home without worrying about having to replace batteries every couple of days.

Each night, I turn of my husband's unit, plug in mine, and turn the belt clip into an easel that sits perfectly on my nightstand. I have been so pleased with this monitor and definitely recommend to all of you to make this purchase!
