Since Allie's room is chaos currently, the natural thing to do felt like changing everywhere else in our house, too, including Carson's room. Nothing drastic. Just put a pair of floor lamps in there, moved his map over his bed, and added some antlers to his nightstand. It feels masculine and a little more sophisticated, but not to the point that it doesn't feel like it belongs to my little boy. Opposite wall is a Toy Story poster that came with his Valentines. That's real. And it sure ain't cute.
