Children's books by James McCullough Review & {GIVEAWAY!!}

I had the opportunity to review two new children's books written by James McCullough and illustrated by Dennis Cox.

The first book was 'A Stranger At Christmas.'

This story begins with the pleasures of Christmas time, like cutting down a tree and making a snowman. The story follows two children who awake in the night after they hear a noise, only to find a stranger outside their home, instead of Santa, trying to ruin Christmas. The children know they have to get their house lit again so Santa can find their home. Santa does visit the children, but he also finds the stranger. The second book I was able to review was 'One Stormy Day.'

In this story, two children wake up to find the day to be gloomy and storming outside. The two become very bored staying indoors and begin to think of any ideas that will keep them entertained. They can't come up with anything to do until they let their imaginations run wild and decide to pretend they are on a ship as captain and a queen. I thought the stories and the illustrations in both of these books were fantastic! The characters are adorable and my son loved them.
