With the arrival of Fall has come the need to find a great pair of shoes that will keep the little tootsies cute and warm.

The challenge has always been finding fabulous modern footwear that adds a touch of funk without compromising quality....until I discovered Livie and Luca!!

About Livie and Luca:

As new mothers, the three of us discovered that there was a need for modern and funky shoes for babies and toddlers that were also lightweight, soft, super flexible and affordable. The more we spoke with other moms like us, the more we realized we weren’t alone in our search. We soon came to the realization that the only way to find these shoes was to create our own company and fill the niche ourselves. So while our children slept and between feedings and diaper changes we began a year of research that included many sleepless nights, lots of support from our husbands and plenty of inspiration from the adventurous lives we share with our children. Finally, in May 2005 Livie & Luca was born and take it from us there was no epidural involved!

Livie & Luca baby and toddler shoe creations incorporate brightly colored leathers, bold designs and whimsical modern touches that capture the playful essence of childhood. Our comfortable shoe construction allows beginning walkers, toddlers and preschoolers to navigate playgrounds, city streets and dirt pathways with style and ease.

Each pair of shoes is made by hand, using the remains of high-quality leather that otherwise would be discarded. Gorgeous and green...this is a shoe company to keep!! Megan and I were lucky enough to each review a pair of shoes from Livie and Luca.

Linley received the London Boots in brown two weeks ago, and she still insists on keeping them at the foot of her bed so that she can put them on as soon as she awakes. She loves these shoes more than her favorite doll. First, they are obviously adorable and suit Linley's personality perfectly. Second, the quality far surpassed any of my expectations. Between the lush leather and thick yet flexible sole, I would be hard pressed to find a more impressive shoe for my three year old.

Carson is the lucky owner of the Emilio's in Navy and Tan. These shoes are so fun and unique. Megan can't say enough good things about them- and Carson can't complain either. The leather is truly of the highest quality and the flexible sole is perfect for early walkers. Carson is able to easily navigate indoors and out in his Emilio's. We were at a wedding this past weekend, and Carson's shoes may have upstaged the bride...and she was a gorgeous bride. These shoes are just simply amazing!!
