Growing up, one of my family's Christmas traditions was that we all got a new pair of pajama's on Christmas Eve. My parents would wrap them all up and and we got to open them right before bedtime so we could wear them that night and then have new pajama's on for Christmas morning pictures. Since we have Graham now, I want to continue this tradition in our family and I have found a great place to get warm thermal pj's for him.
The Nature Shop has a clothing line called
Icebreakers where you can get all the warm clothes, underclothes and pj's that your kids will need for this winter season. This is the same store that I did the review of the
Emu boots for last week and after reviewing several of their products, it is definitely apparent that they offer high quality, durable items.
They have an entire section of clothes and
Ugg boots just for toddlers and kids up to 12 years old.
(From their website): "Icebreaker has a great range of soft, breathable merino wool tops, bottoms and accessories that will not only keep your kids insulated and looking great, but will also allow repeated use, meaning less washing for you." Here are some of the items that I think would work perfect for Christmas pajama's:
They also make
Hoody's and printed long sleeve shirts, all made from 100% merino wool to keep your kid warm while running around outside.
Graham got to review the
Crewe printed sheep shirt. I think he looks so cute in it! I've already used it as a regular shirt for him, put it under a t-shirt and had him wear it to bed as his pj's. It is a very versatile shirt! The fabric is super soft and the tag in the bag is printed on so there is no worry about it being scratchy. I try to take him for a walk at least once a day and since it's been getting pretty cold lately, it was nice to know that I had him dressed in a shirt that was specifically meant to keep him warm.
