I love trying new baby food because I never know what my son will actually like. HappyBaby has a line of baby food that is organic, healthy, and so yummy! They offer first foods, healthy snacks, and toddler meals. I had the opportunity to try several of their products.
The first product my son tried was the HappyBaby fresh frozen organic baby meals. I was able to find these at Whole Foods. I chose the Baby Dahl + Mama Grain combo box intended for babies 9 + months. One flavor is made from organic red lentils and vegetables and the other flavor is organic bananas, black beans, and quinoa. My son liked the red lentils and vegetables fine, but surprised me by not enjoying the black bean mixture. He loves black beans and he loves bananas, but I guess he didn't like them together. After trying this box, I also bought the box with 6 cubes of sweeter potatoes and 6 cubes purer pear intended for babies 6+ months. Of course, my son loved these flavors. They were sweet, delicious, and very smoothly and perfectly pureed.
I am so impressed that HappyBaby makes their food with only organic fruits and veggies and only adds ingredients that have a purpose in supplying the best for your baby/toddler
They also offer HappyBites, which is the perfect snack or meal for toddlers. They have choices such as Salmon Stix, Chicken Bites, Veggie Tots, Mac+Cheese, Fish Bites, and Breakfast Pockets. I love that these balanced meals have hidden veggies in every bite. Hidden is a must when it comes to my picky toddler. It also helps that these bites are delicious!
My son is crazy about Graduates Yogurt Melts. These HappyMelts are just as delicious, contain protein, and are the only organic freeze dried yogurt snacks. They are also the only baby food with prebiotics and probiotics. Why can't all snacks intended for children be packed with goodness like these?
My son also tried out the Organic Puffs in apple. I was actually quite impressed with the green packaging. These containers are very large, much larger than other puff brands, and have a easy to open, perfect for little hands top that also helps to prevent messes. The puffs, which reminds me of cereal, melts in your babies mouth so they are safe to give your little one once they are ready for finger foods.
Lastly, I received the Happy Baby Organic Guide to Baby's First 24 Months, written by Robert W. Sears, MD, FAAP, and Amy Marlow, MPH, RD, CDN. A few of my favorite chapters of this book were 'The Happy Mama: How to Take Good Care of the Caretaker (That Means You)', 'Whats on the Menu? Growing Healthy Babies from Healthy Foods,' and 'A Happy Home: Making a Clean and Green Home for Baby.' This book is a fabulous guide for clueless mamas, like me, who would like to make an effort to feed her baby and family the best. I love a list that is provided on fruits and veggies that you should make a great effort to buy organic and a list that is pretty safe to buy non organic. And while I am in no way an all green or all organic type, I do try to make little differences where I can. This is why I found the green home chapter particularly useful. They provide a guide on how to find safer household cleaners/detergents and even provide simple recipes to make your own cleaners that are safe for your family. I would consider this book a must have, whether you just had a baby or you have a toddler, like me. It has essential information to keep your family, home, and self healthy and safe. Plus, this book comes with over $100 worth of valuable coupons.

ReplyDeleteThat's so funny that you posted about HappyBaby food today! I just purchased the organic apple puffs today, and gave them to my 8 month old for the first time. He didn't really quite know what to do with them, but seemed to like it.
ReplyDeleteI'd love to also try the yogurt melts. I love the gerber ones!

ReplyDeleteWettervorhersage is a set of all the phenomena occurring in a given atmosphere at a given time. Most weather phenomena occur in the troposphere, just below the stratosphere. weather sponsors refers, generally, to day-to-day temperature and precipitation activity, whereas climate is the term for the average atmospheric conditions over longer periods of time. When used without qualification, "weather" is understood to be the weather of Earth.
