Buying shoes for my kids is serious business. I require excellence in fit, comfort, wearability, durability, and style. Without question, Eleven Collection is the best place to find shoes successfully meeting and exceeding every one of my expectations for shoes fitting children aged 3 through 8.

My son was lucky enough to receive the Caper. As soon as I opened them, I fell in love. They oozed quality, and were perfectly styled: sophisticated with a vintage feel to make me happy, and bold, boy colors to please him. As soon as Ryder saw them, he eagerly put them on his feet declaring, "These shoes are as cool as dads!!" Once they were on his feet, he refused to remove them, stating they were "more comfortable than walking around in his socks." My husband, who is generally opinionless when it comes to shoes, shared my sons excitement stating, "I would wear these shoes. They are awesome!"

Awesome they are. Some of my favorite aspects of the shoes:

-They are a cinch to slip-on. Nothing to tie, loop, etc.

-Ryder has worn these in the snow and rain and his feet and bum have stayed dry- no slipping or sliding and superior water protection.

-The reinforced toes have prevented any scuffs from wear. While he has not had extensive outside play (it is still freezing cold here in New Jersey) , he has worn these shoes daily, including gym class at school and his Capers still look brand new!!
