Kitchen Table Gone Blue

We bought our kitchen table before we had children. And before I had ever really cooked. We thought it was huge and would be our perfect table forever. Four years later, I can hardly fit my family at this table, let alone the food I had prepared. I really wanted something bigger, but I had no budget for it.
One day, it occurred to me, hello(!!!) I can use the giant table my husband and I made using a door and IKEA table legs that I was currently using as my craft table.
The white table with natural wood legs was way too matchy and blah next to our new dining chairs. So, I decided to have some fun with color and laquer and go BLUE!

I lurveeee it, people. It took me like a week of going back and forth before I officially decided it was rad. It is so us and my kids particularly love it. Of course, it is not our forever table, just a temporarily solution. I think it will make a great craft table for my kids in the future when we have a house of our own.
What do you think? Would you ever sport a bold dining table?
Oh yeah...and our old dining table is now my desk. It is perfect. Pictures of our front room/office coming soon.
