My soon-to-be 2 year old is my little baby genius. We have been working on numbers for weeks and it is amazing to see how much children can absorb at such a young age. We have learned the numbers 1-6, though I am not sure he has grasped counting objects or just remembering the numbers as words. Because of this, I was thrilled to have the opportunity to try out the Favorite Counting Song DVD, by Baby Genius. I thought this would be a great way for my son to learn while watching television.
The children's DVD begins with a fun song, counting things children love, like dogs! My son went crazy when he saw the two dogs. I would point at the T.V, "one, two...TWO dogs." My son would then repeat. We did this throughout the song. I do feel my son was learning quite a bit and enjoying it!
