Easy Hearty & Healthy Chili

After a crazy long day, an easy dinner that my kids will eat and my husband will love helps calm my nerves. I wasn't a major chili lover until I tried my sister-in-laws recipe. Its a feel good, taste good meal.

Hearty Chili
Choice of meat (I used ground chicken)
Can of Corn
Can of Diced Tomatoes
2 cans of Dark Red Kidney Beans
Green Pepper
Onion
At least half a Jar of Salsa
Chili Powder
Onion Powder
Garlic Powder
Salt & Pepper

Brown your meat in a saute pan & saute your diced green pepper and onion in your soup pot.
Once your onion and pepper are tender, stir in your corn, then tomatoes, beans, meat, and at least half a jar of salsa, depending on how juicy you like your chili.
Add all the seasonings to taste. I like to use a little over a tablespoon of chili powder.
Turn your heat to low, cover, and simmer for 10 mins until your chili is soupy.
Serve with cheese and sour cream or whatever your heart desires.

Enjoy!
